Your Health Data
This page is for people who live in Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, whose laws protect health data in a special way. Wherever you live, this is how Aya Caps LLC, which runs Myofascial Protocol, handles your health data. Our privacy policy covers everything else.
The health data we collect
- Which program you look at, start or buy. The Jaw Protocol, the Pelvic Floor Protocol or the Lower Back Protocol. This says where in your body you have tension.
- Your practice and your numbers. The sessions you do, how tense you feel before and after each one, your measures, your morning ratings, and anything you write in the worksheets. For the Jaw Protocol, your measures are things such as your jaw opening, your morning jaw tension, and your headache days. For the Pelvic Floor Protocol, they are things such as your knee drop, your pelvic tension, and your uncomfortable days. For the Lower Back Protocol, they are things such as your seated reach, your morning stiffness, and your aching days.
- Your answers to the health questions at the checkout, when we ask them. For example, whether you are pregnant or take a blood-thinning medicine.
- What you tell us about your body or your health in the chat or by email.
Why we collect it
- To run your program: to show you the right session, your charts and your report.
- To answer your questions, and to help when something goes wrong.
- To keep a record of the health questions we asked before you paid, and to stop a sale when a program isn't right for you.
- To see which of our ads lead people to our pages and to a purchase.
Who receives it, and why
- Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), so we can see which ads work. Meta is told the address of each of our public pages you open, which shows which program you looked at; which program a checkout you started was for; and that you bought a program, with its amount and a scrambled, one-way coded copy of your email address. Meta is never told your practice, your numbers, your notes or your messages. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Meta is told nothing about you.
- Our AI service, which helps write replies in the chat and by email. It receives your messages and, if you are a member, a short summary of your program and your numbers, so the reply can help you.
- Stripe and PayPal, which take your payment. They receive what you bought, which names your program, and the amount.
- Our email service, which sends our emails. Our emails can name your program, and your progress report shows your numbers.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store your data so the service can run. They use it only to provide their service to us.
We never sell your health data. We may also share it if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Your choices
- See it. Write to hello@send.myofascialprotocol.com. We will send you the health data we hold about you, and the names of everyone we have shared it with.
- Delete it. Write to hello@send.myofascialprotocol.com, or ask in the chat. We will confirm it's you, then delete your account and your practice records within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as sales records.
- Take back your consent. Write to hello@send.myofascialprotocol.com at any time. We will stop collecting your health data and delete what we hold. Your program needs your practice records to work, so this closes it.
- Stop Meta being told about your visits. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
We will not treat you differently, or charge you more, for using any of these choices.
